The spring educational series will be on the topic of Orthodox spirituality. We will look at how we understand our relationship with God and the world around us, as well as at the practical tools that our faith uses to help us in our journey of sanctification. If you would like to participate in this series, please use the sign-up sheets downstairs to let Fr. Peter know when you are available.

The prosfora: Helen Mantice and Fr. Peter. We need prosfora for the upcoming December services. Please let Fr. Peter know if you are able to provide prosfora – large or small.

We have a few spots available for hosting fellowship in December. If you have not hosted one this year, please utilize the sign-up sheet in the church hall. Please remember juice for fellowship should not be red or dark-colored, in case of spills.

Seniors’ Event, Monday, December 9: We will meet at the African American Museum, 55 12th Ave. SE, for a tour. Tickets are $3. If you have questions, please contact Edie Yerington.

A few of our parishioners will be making Christmas pastries as a fund-raiser for our church. The pastries available are: galaktoboureko, baklava, kourambiedes, koulourakia, and karidopita. (Same prices as at the dinner.) Orders are accepted through today and will be ready for pick-up or delivery on Saturday, December 14. Please see Elleni, Carrol, Edie, Goldie, Regina, or Presvytera Magda if you or someone you know would like to order.

Christmas play rehearsals are Sundays at 12:15 pm, lasting about 20 minutes. The last play rehearsal (full dress rehearsal) will be on Saturday, December 14, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. We ask that all cast members try their best to attend as many rehearsals as possible. Please notify Maria Katsiris if you are unable to attend rehearsal.

Please submit newsletter items and photographs before December 11!

You may now sign up in the hall to contribute to the flower decorations of the church for Christmas.

Angel Tree tags are available to pick up in the hall; please select a tag and sign up. Unwrapped gifts should be returned by Sunday, December 15, so that they can be sent to Tanager Place in time.
