With Sunday School starting today, please remember that Sunday School students and their teachers should receive communion first so that we maximize the amount of time available for class.

The Fall Dinner is just 5 weeks away and preparations are in full swing. This is a very important fundraiser for our parish and as always the success of the fundraiser rests largely on our shoulders. Everyone's help is needed to make this a success. If you haven't already, please utilize the sign-up sheet in the church hall to let us know when you can help at the event. Tickets for the dinner will also be distributed today. We encourage everyone to sell as many tickets as possible. If you have not received any tickets or you need more please contact Michael Christodoulou.

Donations are accepted to help offset the cost of the ingredients to make these wonderful desserts for the Fall Dinner. Please give your donations to Chris Paxton, making sure you indicate that it is for Fall Dinner pastries. Next Saturday we will be making the baklava for the dinner following the Divine Liturgy Anyone interested in learning to make baklava or wants to help is encouraged to attend. Kourabiedes (powdered sugar cookies) will be made at Regina’s house on Monday, September 16, at 5:30 pm. Anyone interested in learning how to make kourabiedes or wants to help is invited to attend. For more information regarding pastries for the dinner please see Regina Christodoulou.

Sunday school starts today! Grades 6 and above will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays; younger students will meet following Holy Communion.

Everyone is welcome to learn how to chant on Saturday evenings before Great Vespers. Starting in September, arm yourself with the hymns of the Church!

Greek school starts this week, with classes for young children (2nd level), older youth (3rd level), and adults. A new children’s class (1st level) will meet if interest is communicated. Volunteer teachers are welcome and necessary. Contact Harry Kitsos for more information.
