Winter decorations at the cemetery need to be cleaned up; the official deadline was March 15.

Scholarships are available for undergraduate and graduate Orthodox students. Contact Fr. Peter for info.

Our fundraiser for the Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC) continues. Our goal is $300.

Stewardship: We have $92,104 pledged so far, of the $100,500 budgeted/$118,715 needed for 2014. It takes the efforts of all of us to support our community. Please fill out a pledge form if you have not done so yet! Forms are available in the narthex and in the church hall.

The Spring Parish Assembly will be on Sunday, April 6, after fellowship. Eligible Voters must have returned a Pledge Form for 2014, paid 25% of 2014 total and paid any prior year balances 30 days prior to the Parish Assembly. If for any reason you have a balance from prior year pledges, please see Fr. Peter as soon as possible and all necessary arrangements will be made so that you can participate.

Mark your calendars: the Spring Grecian Dinner is coming up on Sunday, May 4. This is an important fundraiser for our parish, and we need everyone’s help to sell tickets and volunteer for a successful event. Tickets will be distributed next Sunday. If you haven’t already please sign up to help at the event.

The sign-up for fellowship is posted in the hall. There are still plenty of Sundays needing a sponsor.

We have an opportunity to raise funds for our church by working at a concession stand at events at the US Cellular Center. If you are interested in participating , please utilize the signup sheet in the hall.

Thank you to those who have signed up to bake for the Spring Dinner. We are still in need of volunteers for baking 1 pan of galaktoboureko, 5 pans of lemon cake and 4 pans of karidopita. For additional information please contact Regina (319-804-9665).

If you want to make a donation to offset ingredient costs for Spring Dinner pastries, make a check to St. John’s with “Pastry donation” in the memo. Thank you for your support.
