· TODAY – SPRING GRECIAN DINNER – SUN, MAY 2, 2010 – We still have some open spots for working in the kitchen in the afternoon. Please see if you can encourage someone to work.

· THE MESSENGER – The May-June Issue will include Pictures from today’s Dinner as well.

· LIFE LESSONS FROM SUNDAY GOSPEL READINGS – Every Tuesday at 5:30pm-6:30pm.

· GREEK SCHOOL – Every Wednesday – Children’s Classes at 4:30pm; Adult Class at 5:30pm.

· SACRAMENT- Fr. Ciprian will concelebrate at baptism in Iowa City on Sat, May 8th late morning.

· TULIP FESTIVAL IN PELLA, IA – Sat, May 8 – This event is for the entire parish. All who are interested to come, can meet at church on Sat, May 8th at noon so as to make it there in time for the 2:30pm Parade. Afterwards, everyone is encouraged to stay for Great Vespers at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Pella at 5:30pm. There will

· GREAT VESPERS & ALTAR BOY TRAINING – Every Sat. at 5:30pm. CANCELLED THIS SAT, MAY 8 due to the Tulip Festival and Con-Celebration with St. Nicholas Church in Pella, IA.

· PHILOPTOCHOS ALTAR COVERS PROJECT – If you would like to help Philoptochos to acquire a much-needed new set of Altar Covers (etc.), please see the sign-up sheet in church hall. Please jot down your name and the amount you’d like to donate toward the desired item. Checks should be written to “Philoptochos”.

· PROSFORO – Need Prosforo for next week. Please let Fr. Ciprian know if you’d like to make it.
