· TODAY - FOUNDERS’ DAY - MEMORIAL SERVICE & PICNIC – Thank you to Alina Warner for preparing the Kolyva for the Memorial Service, to Kay Escobedo for preparing the main course for today’s Lenten Picnic, and to all of you that prepared a Lenten dessert to share. This day of strict fast (the Beheading of St. John the Baptist - Aug. 29) when we commemorate the Consecration of Our Church and our Founders is appropriately honored by us today by abiding to the rule of Our and Their Faith, regardless of how unusual it may seem to eat lenten food at a picnic J May their memory be eternal and glory be to God!
