Thank you all for your participation in the Fall Greek Dinner! We were able to serve about 715 meals. Ticket sale income (and unsold tickets) should be returned as soon as possible to be put to the benefit of the parish.

We have a few spots available for hosting fellowship in December. If you have not had a chance to host one this year please utilize the sign-up sheet in the church hall.

The Metropolis of Chicago is sponsoring the Loyola University of Chicago exposition: “Greek Architects of Istanbul in the Era of Westernization,” October 27 – November 10, at the Damen Student Center, 6511 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago; free parking is available.

Please sign up on the sheet in the hall if you will be attending the Philoptochos Thanksgiving Luncheon next Sunday, November 10, so that enough food will be prepared.

Please mark your calendar and prepare to attend the Fall Parish Assembly. In addition to being in good canonical standing with the Church, the Archdiocese Regulations and our bylaws also state that all Eligible Voters need to fill out a Pledge Form (Stewardship Commitment Card) for 2013, pay all prior year balances at least 30 days before the Parish Assembly, and pay at least 75% of the current year’s pledge by the date of the Parish Assembly. Remember, if there is financial hardship to fulfill your pledged amount, speak to Fr. Peter and all adjustments will be made accordingly. Eligible Voters can submit questions in writing to be addressed at the Parish Assembly. Please submit your questions to Fr. Peter or Michael Christodoulou by Nov. 10, so that we have enough time to prepare answers.
