Thank you all for your participation in the Fall Greek Dinner! We were able to serve about 715 meals. Ticket sale income (and unsold tickets) should be returned as soon as possible to be put to the benefit of the parish.
Thursday, October 24 – METROPOLITAN IAKOVOS NAME DAY DINNER – This Clergy Syndesmos Fundraiser supports the St. Iakovos Retreat Center. Our parish has budgeted a full table of ten ($1,000) and we look forward to filling it. If you would like to represent our parish at the dinner, please let Fr. Peter know by NO LATER than today, Sunday, October 20. Your help in covering the cost of this dinner through a good-will donation is greatly appreciated.
St. John will host an “All Saints” party for our youth, after vespers on Friday, October 25, with games and treats. Come dressed as a saint for an extra prize (other costumes allowed). We will have a trivia contest about popular saints and have fun while learning about the champions of our faith. Please let Jessica White know if you plan to attend. Adults are welcome to stay for the fun as well. Activities will run approximately 7:00-8:30 p.m.
St. George invites our youth to participate in an All Saints Fall Party on Wednesday, October 23, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The annual trick-or-treat–style program will feature the Twelve Apostles.
