The prosfora this week were provided by Mary Moscrip and Tula Margellos.

Please support our Sunday School by allowing teachers and then students to receive Communion first, giving them the maximum time available for class.

The Fall Dinner is just two weeks away, and preparations are in full swing. This is a very important fundraiser for our parish, and as always the success of the fundraiser rests largely on our shoulders. Everyone’s help is needed to make this a success. Please utilize the sign-up sheet in the hall to let us know when you can help at the event. We encourage everyone to sell as many tickets as possible. If you have not received any tickets or you need more please contact Michael Christodoulou.

Donations are accepted to help with the cost of the ingredients for Fall Dinner desserts. Please give donations to Chris Paxton, indicating that it is for Fall Dinner pastries.

The Sunday school staff thank those who pledged to the Sunday school program on the registration form. Please indicate funds are for the Sunday school.

Sunday School’s Awards Programs encourage students to gain knowledge and life practice in their faith by developing Orthodox Christian habits. 1) Attendance (end of year): attending regularly builds knowledge, friendships, and memories. 2) Treasures in Heaven Journal (monthly): tracking daily prayers, church attendance, and reading daily epistles and gospels; meet with Fr. Peter to set goals. 3) Achievement (end of year): achieving goals set by grade level; meet with Fr. Peter. Requirements include memorizing prayers, reciting facts, and reading literature about our faith. 4) Created to Serve log (end of year): tracking time serving others at home, at church, and in the community. Please help the Sunday school by sponsoring these new awards. See Maria for more information.
