Please give Fr. Peter names of your loved ones who have fallen asleep; we will pray for everyone this coming Saturday. Mark the names of Orthodox Christians so they can continue to be remembered throughout the year when Fr. Peter prepares the holy gifts for the Liturgy.

The prosfora this week were provided by Tula Margellos and Mary Moscrip.

The sign-up for the 2014 fellowships is posted in the hall. Please remember juice for fellowship should not be red or dark-colored, in case of spills.

For 2014, we have $83,171 pledged so far, of the $100,500 budgeted/$118,715 needed for 2014. Please fill out a pledge form if you have not done so yet! Forms should be in the narthex.

Through the month of February, Fr. Peter will be blessing the homes of the St. John faithful. The schedule has gone out by email and regular mail. Please contact the office as soon as possible if you need to make a change in the schedule.

The St. John the Baptist phase of the 2014 St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival (grades 4-12) will be on Sunday, March 23. Please let Anne Gasperetti or Fr. Peter know if you would like to participate.

Please note that, even though we only have two spots marked as reserved for people with disabilities, we have more than a couple of parishioners who can benefit from parking closer to the entrance. Thus, on Sundays, please consider two additional spots beyond the reserved spots as special needs parking

Frank and Juliana Dancer would like to invite our parish family to the baptism of their son, Zachary John, on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 3:30 pm. Please also join us after the service for Great Vespers followed by a reception in the church hall. If you are able to make it, please RSVP to Juliana by March 16 (email: julianadancer1@gmail.com or phone: 319-329-6179).
