From 06/13/10 Sunday Bulletin

posted Jun 12, 2010, 4:18 PM by FrCiprian Sas
·    TODAY is the 1st day for our SUMMER SERVICE HOURS – ORTHOS AT 8:00AM & DIVINE LITURGY AT 9:00AM. This popular request from among our parishioners is well-grounded as it will enable us to more easily keep the church cooler during the service (as our Summer days get hotter sooner), as well as allow everyone to enjoy more of the summer Sundays with family and friends. PLEASE NOTE: If all goes well (church attendance does not diminish because of this change), we intend to keep it this way through the end of August. This attempted change affects everyone, so feedback to Fr. Ciprian is welcome and encouraged; don’t be shy J
·    APOSTLES’ FAST – May 31 to June 29 – Please observe this fast as best as you can. Fish is allowed on most days. More details can be seen on our wall calendar and Archdiocese website.
·    FELLOWSHIP – Nobody is signed up to sponsor Fellowship for the next couple of Sundays. If you are not on the schedule for this year, please consider one of these Sundays and tell Fr. Ciprian.
·    THE MESSENGER – The July 15 deadline is fast approaching and so far we have only ONE submission for the July-August issue. As you may already know, Regina Christodoulou is now being trained and will eventually take full charge of our Newsletter Publication Ministry. We welcome her into this ministry and thank her in advance for her devoted time. Thank you Regina! We do, however, need EVERYONE to send your submissions to stj.news@gmail.com by the July 15th Deadline. Regina will be out of town later this month and we REALLY NEED to have all of your submissions by the deadline so we have something to work with BEFORE it’s time for her to leave. Your continued commitment to submitting your Newsletter input ON TIME will be much-appreciated not only by us, BUT (in turn) ALL THE MESSENGER READERS :)
