·         TODAY – SUNDAY SCHOOL HYMNOLOGY CLASSES start after Holy Communion every Sunday until the end of July. Thank you to Juliana Dancer for teaching the last two classes and to Presbytera Maggie for teaching today’s class.

·         TODAY – SUNDAY SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY will take place immediately after the Divine Liturgy. Students will receive their promotion certificates and attendance awards. If your student was not present at the last day of school, please check the blue table for their books and/or materials they should take home with them. Thank you to all the teachers and especially to Renee Hadjis who is now offering her spot to another Sunday School after many years of dedicated service toward this ministry – God bless you. Speak to Maria if interested in being a teacher next September.

·         TODAY – 3:00pm – Moving Away Party for Anna & Paul Straub and House Warming Party for Phil Nickerson. Everyone is invited to an afternoon of live music, food, and drinks. Blessing of the home will be at 3PM (415 Liberty Drive SE - Cottage Grove Ave, right on Forest Drive, 1st left on Liberty)

·         Mon, June 25 – 3:00pm  Service Outreach Committee Meeting

·         Mon, June 25 – 6:30pm  Philoptochos Meeting - last one before September to take care of remaining obligations and decide the Women’s Night Out (Mini-Golf?) to place in the Newsletter.

·         Tue, June 26 – SENIORS’ EVENT – At 11:30am, we will meet at Kava House Café (122 2nd St. SE, Swisher) for lunch and presentation by the Swisher mayor Tim Mason. Afterwards we will receive a tour of the Town Hall. Please RSVP with Edie today for table arrangement at Kava House.

·         Tue, June 26 – 7:15pm HOPE invites all youth to the BRUCEMORE BALOON GLOW. We will be seated near the 1st Avenue Entrance and to the right (our usual spot) where we can all meet. Please bring your own seating, blankets, and water/refreshments, etc. Contact Elleni Huerter for details.

·         Thu, June 28 – 5:30pm Vespers for Sts. Peter & Paul

·         Fri, June 29 – 8:30am Orthros & 9:30am Divine Liturgy….  5:30pm Vespers for Holy Apostles

·         Fri, June 29 – MEN’S NIGHT OUT/IN (Vespers/Movie/Food/Discussion/Fellowship) – Adult men of all ages are invited. This eventful evening will start with Vespers for the Holy Apostles at 5:30pm. Immediately afterwards we will enjoy some food at church then watch the movie “Courageous”. Spiritually enriching discussion and fellowship will follow the movie.

·         Sat, June 30 – 8:30am Orthros & 9:30am Divine Liturgy for Holy Apostles….  5:30pm Great Vespers

·         Sun, July 1 – 8:30am Orthros; 9:30am Divine Liturgy; 11:00am Memorial Service for Ted Dalamaggas & Fellowship by Tula and Nick Margellos.

·         Fr. Ciprian will be at the Clergy-Laity Congress Mon-Fri (Jul 2-6). Emergencies 804-8502.

·         OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS: Sunday School Outing (Sun, Jul 15), Vacation Church School (Aug. 6-10). IOCC Sunday School Kits Sign-Up. Details about these and other events will be forthcoming.

·         Pan-Orthodox Liturgical Items Burning Event for Youth & Families (Sat, July 7 at 4:00pm) – MUST read email and sign up ASAP online or downstairs. We need a head count to order food and plan properly.

·         GREAT CAUSE – Support St. Jude’s Hospital and Research Center for Children with Cancer through one of our Warrior Dash participants. The Warrior Dash 5K Obstacle Race will be in Earlham, IA on Sat, July 14thg. Warrior Dash participants will be called by Fr. Ciprian to schedule a meeting this week so that a list of all participants and details about can be made available during the services of next weekend.

·         PROSFORO – Need prosforo for the Divine Liturgies before Friday, June 29. Speak with Father.

·         Fri-Sat, Aug. 17-18 – Pilgrimage to Venerate relics of St. Nektarios and visit our Metropolis Retreat Center.
